Megafish ("we", "us", "the platform") provides a social/dating platform where users connect using key-based authentication.
By using Megafish, you agree to these terms.
You receive a unique key to access Megafish. You are responsible for keeping your key secure. If someone uses your key, it's treated as you using the platform. We cannot reset or recover lost keys. No key = no account.
"They took your license. We gave you a key."
Megafish is a platform where users interact. We do not control what you say, how you behave, who you meet, or what happens during or after meetings. You are solely responsible for your interactions, your safety when meeting people, and your compliance with laws.
Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230): "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider."
Megafish is a platform, not a publisher. We do not create, edit, or endorse user content. We are not liable for false information, harassment, bad dates, or someone lying about their identity. We are not a matchmaker or chaperone. We are a platform.
You must be 18 or older. By using Megafish, you affirm you are at least 18. If we discover a user is under 18, we will delete their key and profile.
You may not harass, threaten, or abuse others; post illegal content; impersonate someone; use the platform for commercial solicitation; or attempt to hack the platform. Violation may result in immediate key revocation.
We collect your key (hashed), MBTI type, preferences, bio, photos, and messages. We do NOT collect email, phone number, real name (unless you share it), or credit card info. We do not sell your data. If we sell the platform, data will transfer under the same commitments — or be deleted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Megafish is not liable for any injury, harm, or damages from your use of the platform or interactions with other users. Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Megafish and its founder from any claims arising from your use, violation of terms, or interactions with other users. If you get sued because of something you did on Megafish, you pay for it — not us.
